Literature Text

Nightshade, the Patient One.
I am the rain that washes away the blood and the bane.
My cane brings fear to the Thanes,
The lord and master of every grain.
Nightshade is my name, I am he who pierced Kane.

Infinite patience, my tool.
Honor of loyalty, brings me jewels.
Wisdom of eons to fuel my rule,
Fore this is the shade of Nightly duels.

Fighting futility, shall gain you none.
Your anger only does some...
But my patient ways will be your rite to run.
For I am, Nightshade, the Patient One.

Visions of Seraph, grand celestial bonds,
Bring me the true and reason for the fun.
Errand of the mind always lurk in the face of my Kun,
But make no mistake to think I am a fool, oh impatient ones.

Hail Nightshade!
A man who is a master of patience is master of everything else.
    George Savile.

A wise man is superior to any insults which can be put upon him, and the best reply to unseemly behavior is patience and moderation
    Moliere

Affliction is the wholesome soil of virtue, where patience, honor, sweet humility, and calm fortitude, take root and strongly flourish.
    David Mallet

For my friend, ~Nightshade369963. He's the lord of patience!

Been meaning to do this for him for awhile now, since I did the Blythe, the Shaman Wolf poem which started this trek to the poem world. Sorry it took so long, I needed to think of a good line to get me started and it came to me not long ago.

Hope you like it, my friend!
